ABU DHABI, Feb 20 (PRIME) -- Exports of Russia's SSJ New and MC-21 aircraft to the CIS states can start after 2026 and to the non-CIS states after 2028, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said on Monday.
"We must satisfy demand of the national market first…This is why I should say, the non-CIS deliveries may start after 2027–2028 for certain. Concerning the CIS, I think we will formalize deals and orders after 2025–2026," Manturov said.
He said that the CIS states are still interested in the new Russian jet models, while the non-CIS supplies are not on the short-term plans.
